Made from a French Bordeaux barrel head. We try to preserve the cooperage or vineyard logo the best we can while sanding the piece to an even finish. We also preserve as much of the red wine stained bottom throughout our sanding and fitting process. Once the wood has been stained or oiled we finish the platter off with a polyurethane so it will have years of beautiful use ahead of it. This piece will get your friends and family talking at your next gathering.
