What variety of rose is included?
Your rose seed variety is Rosa chinensis ‘Angel Wings’. What you choose to name your unique rose however, is completely up to you!
How many seeds are contained in the packet?
Your packet contains enough seed to have at least two attempts at growing your own rose. We therefore recommend that you save enough seed for a second try if your first is unsuccessful.
Are there any restrictions on the name I choose?
Names deemed to include foul or abusive language will not be registered.
What if the name I choose has already been used?
Very occasionally, someone else may register their own rose with the same name that you choose. However every packet of rose seed has its own unique identification code which is added to the front of your rose name when registered. Consequently no two rose names can ever be the same: whatever name you choose, your rose is guaranteed to be uniquely named!
How long does it take to receive my Rose Name certificate?
This will be dispatched within 28 days from the date of registration. Occasionally, factors outside of Gift Republic’s control, may affect delivery times.
How long do I have to register my gift?
You need to register your gift before the ‘register by’ date on your rose seed packet. We recommend that you register your gift as soon as possible.
How long do I have to sow my seeds?
We recommend that you plant your seeds as soon as possible. Please note, the seeds do have a recommended sow by date, marked on the seed packet. Seeds will still grow after this date however the germination rate will reduce with age.
