Each kit comes with everything you need to make a perfect fingerprint impression. Instructions are included in the packaging as well as online (because we know things get lost sometimes). Once you have your impression complete, carefully ship it to the artist’s studio in Knoxville, Tennessee where it will begin its transformation. The artists will painstakingly make a mold of the imprint, cast it and finally hand-finish in sterling silver. Each one-of-a-kind piece is handled with extreme attention to the details, textures and swirls that are unique to that fingerprint. Because of this detailed process, please allow 2-4 weeks from the arrival of your impression at the Tennessee studio for you to get these puppies in your paws. If you are planning to order these in advance and give the finished product as a gift, give yourself 4-6 weeks from purchase date to the date that you need to have the final gift in your hands. Otherwise, give the kit, help them make the imprints and send in the impression for them so that all they have to do is wait for their cufflinks to appear in their mailbox.
These cufflinks have bullet style backs that swivel to make it super easy to get them on the shirt and out the door. And, at XXXXXXXXXmm across, they will stand out just enough without looking gaudy or ostentatious.
Parents: please note that little ones don’t fully develop their fingerprints until they are at least 18-months old so we recommend that you try a toe print instead if you want to make an imprint of a child under 18-months of age.
But don’t worry! We know that mistakes happen. Re-do kits are available if you feel like you messed up your imprint or are unhappy for whatever reason. You can also re-do your jewelry if it didn’t turn out to your liking, for a small fee, as long as you return the jewelry that you received.
